More + RESULTS: 2020 Academic Bowl Competition sponsored by the West Shore Foundation The Academic Bowl, sponsored by the West Shore Foundation, is designed for students throughout the District in grades four through eight to showcase their general knowledge across a vast spectrum of topics. The competitions consist of double elimination academic contests that stress immediate individual and team recall of factual information in the areas of art, entertainment, geography, grammar & usage, history, literature, mathematics, music, science, sports, television, theater, and world events. More + Planning Ahead: Weather-Related School Closing/Delay Information With winter weather approaching, we're making sure we're prepared to keep students safe. Below you will find the District's procedures should bad weather necessitate a change in schedule. It is important families be prepared, so please make sure your child understands when you expect them to return home, or to the home of a trusted neighbor, in the event of an early dismissal.
